Quality as a principle

Quality is not only our demand, it is also a principle to which we are committed. To ensure the quality of our products and processes our actions are based on uniform standards and indutrial norms. Our standard-compliant actions are ensured through regular external audits.

Iso 9001:2015

Tested and approved to be good: The continuous improvement and optimisation of internal processes and procedures are an integral part of the business activities at SCHLEGEL. SCHLEGEL has been certified according to the ISO 9001 standard since 1994 and thus meets the requirements of this quality management system. The implementation and effectiveness of the specifications are checked in regular audits. True to the SCHLEGEL motto: "If you stop trying to improve, one day you will stop being good." International approvals

SCHLEGEL is a company producing exclusively "Made in Germany", but is also focusing on international business. SCHLEGEL products meet the requirements of global standards and norms like UL, CCC, TÜV, CSA, VDE, ENEC, DGUV. Those approvals are also the basis for the worldwide distribution of SCHLEGEL products.

Supply chain due diligence

The Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) holds companies responsible for complying with human rights in global supply chains. SCHLEGEL's supplier companies are therefore checked by an external institute for compliance regarding the requirements of the law. SCHLEGEL thus fulfils its duty of care and ensures that the supply chains are in line with the requirements of the LkSG.

Safety certificate

A safety certificate is essential for products that require a high level of safety, e.g. in the machine building, the railway market or in medical technology. It confirms that the product has been developed and tested in accordance with international standards for functional safety in order to mnimise risks and ensure the safety of people and the environment. SCHLEGEL also has safety certificates in the field of functional safety.
