SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The company GEORG SCHLEGEL has its roots in the region of Riedlingen/Duermentingen. Being one of the biggest employers of this region, we recognise our social responsibility and support local associations, organisations and institutions. This is our contribution to advance the appeal and quality of life in these places where our employees live.

We sponsor social intitutions and organisations that alleviate the need of people. We want to help disadvantaged people and also get involved with forward-looking projects.

Education is the key for a good development of not only the people, but also the economy of a region. We support educational institutions via partnerships with schools. This also contributes to encourage the exchange between the economy and schools.

Sports have a great power of integration and brings people of different social groups together. In addition, sports competitions impart and promote qualities that are indispensable in a company, too: Fairness, endurance, strength, technique and teamwork are basic elements for a joint success. We realise this by sponsoring sports clubs.

Cultural events broaden the horizon, enable new points of view and perspectives or connect through the universal language of music. By sponsoring cultural events, we support that social function of culture.
