The emergency-stop, which only needs a mounting depth of 18 mm, has all necessary approvals and meets the degrees of protection IP65, IP67 and IP69K. The YPVLOO comes with Faston terminals and can be mounted in the standard panel cut-out of 16.2 mm.
Visually appealing protection
In order to protect pushbuttons and switches from liquids and dirt, SCHLEGEL has developed a protective lid made of stainless steel. It is also suitable for hygienic applications and is designed with appealing details. The protective lid is made of the high-quality stainless steel 1.4404. The smooth, seamless design complies with hygienic requirements and at the same time looks timelessly modern and elegant. The tear-resistant strap inside the lid is also functional. It connects the lid to the base part and thus makes it captive.
The degree of protection of the SDVA22RRP is IP66 and IP69K, which means a protection against dust and water. It can also be exposed to high-pressure cleaning. Due to its size, the SDVA22RRP allows the protection of panel mount jacks as well as pushbuttons and switches. The protection cap is approved by the FDA and DGUV. The protective cap can be used in a temperature range of –40°C up to +85°C.

Two applications, two Red Dot awards - that's a remarkable record. The coveted seal of quality is awarded by an international jury and is only given to products that convince with their outstanding design, as an announcement from Red Dot says. "Among the numerous submissions from companies and design studios from all over the world, the outstanding quality and design of your products have convinced our international jury," reads the letter of congratulations from Red Dot.
The focus on design quality has a tradition at SCHLEGEL. Our company has already received more than 100 design awards. Furthermore, it is not our first time to receive the Red Dot Award. In 2018, we received the award for the Rondex-Juwel series and in 2021 for the new enclosure series proboxx and the FRPKVOO, an emergency-stop with spherical head. In 2023, the emergency-stop QRBLUVOOI_C1190 of the Quartex connect series has been awarded with the Red Dot as well.
