A nice time together at the summer festival

200 colleagues celebrate together

SCHLEGEL employees celebrated their summer party in Bad Buchau on a warm summer evening. Once again, everything was perfect: Good atmosphere, good ambience. About 200 colleagues participated in the summer festival.

The mayor of Bad Buchau, Peter Diesch, and Christoph Schlegel greeted them. In his speech, Christoph Schlegel reported on the results of the 1st half of 2024. After years of rapid growth, we are also hit with the economy´s and the machine industry´s stagnation The managing director called it a "year of consolidation". In such a situation the tool of short-time work is helpful as the company can "endure weaker economical phases" by using it.

But he also talked about other topics of this year: We have won 2 design awards, our trainees successfully completed their training and we have introduced social guides for our company. However, this evening was more to spend a nice evening together than talking about figures, orders and facts. “Tonight we want to take our minds off business and celebrate together,” emphasised Christoph Schlegel.

No sooner said than done: the trimmings and tables were set up in the vehicle hall and there was delicious food outside the hall. Pizza and dennete or burgers and a salad buffet. Plus Aperol, coffee, cool drinks and later a fresh, delicious ice cream.

The beautiful weather was perfect for chatting outside the hall. Those who wanted to play a little more could test their reactions at the emergency stop game. Or get moving, as the music invited people to dance - which they did. So it turned out to be what it was supposed to be: a great evening. Thank you to the Bad Buchau fire department for allowing us to be their guests again!
